OUR FOREST
The Crocker Family Forest consists of 96 acres located in Exeter, Maine. It is an actively-managed tree farm comprised of forest, fields, bog, streams and vernal pools. We conducted two commercial harvests in the last six years, harvesting spruce and fir for pulp, poplar for veneer, and some maple, pine and spruce for saw logs while at the same time creating forest openings to improve wildlife habitat. We operate a small saw mill for our own building projects, though we have provided lumber to others on occasion.

We maintain over three miles of hiking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing trails and are always working to expand our trail network. Visit our trail page to learn how you can use our trails, and view a trail map!

We also produce maple syrup, hand-crafted signs, balsam fir wreaths and a variety of other wood products for sale to those who would like to purchase any of our Maine made goods. Visit OUR PRODUCTS page for more information!
OUR FAMILY
We are a family of educators, nature lovers and outdoors people. We enjoy giving guided tours of our working forest, explaining the forestry practices and wildlife habitat improvements that we are putting in place, teaching folks about the trees, plants and animals that live here, producing quality Maine products for gifts and for sale, and just enjoying our little slice of heaven. And yes, every once in a while, we'll even hug a tree...
